The mistake was made by a doctor in the room.
My colleague and a nurse were witnesses.
She simply pulled the stitches one day after the operation.
When only blood came out, she disappeared and I had another emergency operation that same evening.

The hand surgery department doesn't care about patient rights. As someone with half private insurance, I was supposed to have an operation performed by an assistant doctor. Disastrous educational discussion. Not recommendable.

Was there almost a year ago, after many test for my heart I was told nothing wrong with my heart. Drs in basel spital told me lies. Today the dr told me they knew about my heart but did not say me. Trust has to be earned. It's a shame they don't understand what their oath was about!!!!!

This hospital is totally out of control. After my eight surgeries there so far, which have always involved complications, I know that many of these complications could have been prevented if the staff had taken their job seriously. Will never go there again.

The operations themselves went ok, the entire procedure around the operation is primarily what this hospital has not mastered. The nursing staff in particular still has a lot of learning to do. I am very dissatisfied with their postoperative care.

no real contact persons, huge hospital, if you want to make an appointment you phone around literally for hours. I was sent home after surgery, because I'd stayed for too long, but then it showed that there was still an infection, etc etc, you feel like "feed"
