My stay in this hospital was a complete disaster. Had to undergo emergency surgery due to a mistake made by a doctor The care on the 4th floor was very dubious

The mistake was made by a doctor in the room. My colleague and a nurse were witnesses. She simply pulled the stitches one day after the operation. When only blood came out, she disappeared and I had another emergency operation that same evening. October 23, 2023

If you don't want to seek professional (dying) assistance, the alternative is a treatment at the University Hospital Basel. Please make sure you have enough money when using the services. This is a matter of course for the doctors present. Not to be outdone in terms of incompetence

The hand surgery department doesn't care about patient rights. As someone with half private insurance, I was supposed to have an operation performed by an assistant doctor. Disastrous educational discussion. Not recommendable.

Incompetent doctor, discharged to the home without discharge report, she prescribed 3 liters (!) of oxygen for the home over the phone!! (Patient needs liters on prescription from pneumology!), Wrong diagnosis, home was not informed that the resident would be released and come back

This hospital is totally out of control. After my eight surgeries there so far, which have always involved complications, I know that many of these complications could have been prevented if the staff had taken their job seriously. Will never go there again.

The operations themselves went ok, the entire procedure around the operation is primarily what this hospital has not mastered. The nursing staff in particular still has a lot of learning to do. I am very dissatisfied with their postoperative care.

no real contact persons, huge hospital, if you want to make an appointment you phone around literally for hours. I was sent home after surgery, because I'd stayed for too long, but then it showed that there was still an infection, etc etc, you feel like "feed"
